The
Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
has won the ‘Best Airport Hotel 2005’ award
by Business Asia magazine. This marks the fifth time
the hotel has won the accolade since it was introduced
in 2000.
Readers
of Business Asia magazine were asked to vote for their
preferred business hotel in each country based on a
list of criteria from special business services to business
club and lounge facilities, conferences and convention
facilities and reward programs.
Says
Hans G. Winsnes, General Manager of Pan Pacific Kuala
Lumpur International Airport, “This award is truly
an affirmation to our commitment in providing nothing
short of excellence in services and product offerings.
And we will continue to push boundaries and strive to
be a choice hotel for business executives.”
Located
strategically next to the airport’s main terminal,
the hotel offers travellers easy access to the airport
as the hotel provides complimentary buggy service between
the airport and the hotel, easily accessible via the
skybridge that links the hotel to the airport. To better
cater to the busy executives, the Pan Pacific Kuala
Lumpur International Airport introduced a new check-
in counter at the airport in June this year strategically
located at the Baggage Claim area of the International
Arrival Hall.
The
Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport offers
441 newly refurbished guestrooms and suites. The hotel
