BTI
Singapore's new premises were officially launched with a big
party in late November. Officiating the ceremony on 22nd November
were Mr David Radcliff, the CEO of BTI, approximately 150 clients
and industry guests as well as the directors of Hogg Robinson,
which is the parent company of BTI Singapore. The new premises
have a capacity for more than a hundred staff, which is the
expected growth over the next three years.
Mr
Radcliffe's speech included a vote of confidence in BTI Singapore
and the growth expectations from the Singapore market. A traditional
lion dance ceremony opened the office warming event.
In
Airline
News, In a month of launches, China Southern
Airlines launches a business class promotion between
Hong Kong and Beijing; and Continental Airlines
has launched a new travel club. Hong Kong Express will
now fly to Ningbo; JAL offers freshly cooked
rice on board and Australia's Oz Jet, the first
business class only carrier in Australia has been launched.
Cathay
Pacific issues fresh warnings of their minimum baggage
allowance; Qantas has launched a limited time
fare promotion for Singaporeans; Singapore Airlines
launches in flight connectivity and now flies to Pakistan and
Thai Airways International now flies Bangkok
to Los Angeles non stop.

News, Bahrain Airport Services in association with
Bristish Airways has onea prestigious award, Malaysian Airports
are set to raise sales revenues through non-carrier related
services and Singapore's Changi Airport is the first to welcome
an A380 Airbus outside of Europe.

Bangkok has been ranked the ‘World’s Best Business
Hotel’; Westin Hotels & Resorts goes smoke-free; the
first Hong Kong Indoor Ice Hotel is on display in Hong Kong's
APN Shopping Mall and the Mandarin Oriental has opened its first
hotel in Japan at a stunning height on the 38th floor of the
Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower.
