InterContinental Hotels Group recently opened its second
Holiday Inn hotel in Bangkok. Newly launched as the
Holiday
Inn Bangkok after an extensive refurbishment, the
379-guestroom hotel is centrally located on Ploenchit
Road close to the Chitlom BTS
station and adjacent to the InterContinental Bangkok
hotel.
Guests
can enjoy on-demand movies and interactive information
services from the state-of-the-art in-room entertainment
facilities including flat-screen televisions. Rooms
also feature an ergonomic workstation, data ports and
high-speed internet access. In addition, guests staying
at the Executive Club Floor can enjoy exclusive benefits
such as complimentary daily breakfast, evening cocktails
and use of meeting room facilities in the Executive
Club Lounge. For the health conscious the hotel boasts
a fully-equipped gymnasium which sports the latest in
cardiovascular and resistance equipment for weight-training
and aerobic exercise.
In
addition to the facilities at the InterContinental Bangkok,
the Holiday Inn Bangkok offers a variety of culinary
experiences ranging from Charm Thai, a specialty authentic
Thai restaurant, to café G, a modern “market
style” all day dining outlet with open kitchens
adding to the enjoyment by way of visual interaction.
The
Holiday Inn Bangkok is the fifth hotel to be added to
the InterContinental Hotels Group’s Thailand portfolio,
and the second Holiday Inn and third hotel for the group
